With more than 17 years of experience in the disaster restoration industry, I have built my career on helping property owners, restoration contractors, insurance professionals, and real estate professionals navigate complex water damage and mold-related losses with confidence. My experience spans residential, commercial, industrial, and large-loss projects, having worked for and consulted with some of the largest restoration organizations in the world.
Throughout my career, I have specialized in commercial accounts and large-loss restoration, managing projects ranging from individual residential water losses to multimillion-dollar commercial disasters. I have responded to numerous nationally recognized catastrophic events, including Hurricanes Harvey, Michael, Florence, and Beryl, among many others. These experiences have provided firsthand knowledge of large-scale water intrusion, structural drying, microbial contamination, and complex restoration logistics under demanding conditions.
As a Certified Mold Inspector with multiple mold-related certifications, my expertise extends well beyond sampling and laboratory interpretation. What distinguishes my assessments is the unique perspective gained from working on both sides of the industry. Having served as both a professional mold remediator and an independent mold assessor, I understand not only how contamination develops and is identified, but also how it is properly remediated in the field. This dual perspective allows me to prepare practical, technically defensible remediation protocols that are easy for contractors to execute while remaining consistent with current industry standards.
